BEYOND THE BOUNDARY
A development should matter beyond its boundary.
01 / wider impact of delivery
Building places.
Creating lasting impact.
Regeneration should leave more behind than new buildings. The investment that goes into a development creates opportunities for local businesses, employment and skills, while the homes and spaces that follow can bring new activity and investment to surrounding streets. We want to make sure those benefits are considered from the outset, rather than left to chance.
Through Beyond the Boundary, we work with local partners to identify where our developments can make a meaningful contribution. Creating routes into employment and apprenticeships, supporting local businesses and supply chains, and connecting new investment with the wider town or city are all part of how we approach our projects.
But genuine community wealth goes beyond jobs and economic investment. It's also about people's lived experience, wellbeing and sense of belonging. How people feel about their surroundings, the opportunities available to them and the connections they make within their community all contribute to the success of a place.
Our ambition is to build these considerations into every development, recognising that the lasting value of regeneration isn't measured solely by what happens within the site boundary, but by the positive contribution it makes to the wider community.

Something exciting is taking shape.
Building on AIM's existing charitable ventures, we're developing something that will take Beyond the Boundary even further, bringing together people, partnerships and opportunities to make a lasting difference in the towns and cities we work in.
More to come.
